Psalms: Songs of Korah, Asaph, & Others

white tailed deer drinking by forest stream

My Soul Longs for You, O Lord.

As the deer pants for the water, so my soul pants for You, O God.
My soul thirsts for God, for the living God; when shall I come and appear before God?
– Psalm 42: 1, 2

What does it mean to pant for the Lord?
Have you ever so desperately needed time with the Lord that you could hardly breathe?

A life without desperation for the Lord is missing the most glorious purpose in being alive.

As we dwell in these Psalms, we will learn what it is to be desperate for the Lord, to long for the Lord, to seek, Him and, best of all, to find Him if we seek Him with all our heart.
